On August 27, 2026, Vertex Pharmaceuticals appointed Jonathan Poole as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective January 1, 2027. Charles F. Wagner, Jr. will cease serving as CFO on that date but will remain Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
