How to read these numbers
Challenge rate is the share of questions that pushed back, pressed for specifics or questioned management’s assumptions. It describes how questions were asked on the calls tracked here; it does not measure whether any view turned out to be right.
Rounding. Rates are rounded to whole percentages, so a small share can show as 0% even when some questions were challenging. The count beside each rate is exact; “none of N questions” means no question was challenging.
No questions recorded. “—” means there is nothing to calculate: no questions were recorded for that period on the calls tracked here. It does not mean there was no activity.
Fewer than 3 questions. A company-level rate is withheld when fewer than 3 questions were recorded for that company; the questions are still counted everywhere else.
Small samples. Profiles with fewer than 10 questions are marked Limited sample.
Reporting periods. Questions are grouped by the calendar quarter each company’s fiscal reporting period maps to, not by the date of the call. Periods without a calendar mapping are listed separately under their fiscal label.

Calendar 2026 Q2
have you changed your assumptions for molybdenum in these economic And if so, what molybdenum price are you using?
Show response
Confirmed the $4 copper incentive case uses a conservative $20 moly price despite molybdenum trading materially higher.
Calendar 2025 Q4
I see there's no export duties when I look at your guidance going forward, TCs are up to $0.43 versus historical levels
Show response
Quirk confirmed zero export duties going forward as all concentrate processed internally. The $0.43 TC reflects internal smelter operating costs plus tolling fees. Revenue line now captures full byproduct and free metal benefits.
Is that all additive post-2030, i.e., the higher production at KL, you still have the mill capacity, you have to do anything?
Show response
Quirk explained KL rates increased from 90,000 to 130,000 tons/day by substituting KL ore for GBC ore that requires pyrite processing, deferring capital for pyrite handling facilities. This is timing resequencing, not net new production.
Calendar 2025 Q2
do you think you're going to be able to get up to the current recoveries you see at GBC
Show response
Quirk acknowledged KL recoveries remain below GBC levels but improvements have been made. Current reserve assumptions are conservative relative to actual GBC mill recoveries.
if I look past the 5 years, is there anything different I should worry about there?
Show response
Quirk confirmed no change to long-range plans. KL development adds optionality for grade sequencing between ore bodies. 2041 extension would open additional recovery opportunities.
Calendar 2025 Q1
did you make an assumption that the 7.5% export tax went away in the fourth quarter in Indonesia
Show response
Quirk confirmed no export duty projected in Q4 since internal smelters will process concentrate. Indonesia unit cost improved from -27 cents to -47 cents credit mainly from higher gold prices.
Calendar 2024 Q4
Is that going to happen even if you get the smelter up and running or is it still working the way it used to work
Show response
Quirk confirmed 7.5% export duty applies on all 2025 exports per current regulation. Exports decline significantly in H2 as smelter ramps up. 2026 target is zero export duty.
