How to read these numbers
Challenge rate is the share of questions that pushed back, pressed for specifics or questioned management’s assumptions. It describes how questions were asked on the calls tracked here; it does not measure whether any view turned out to be right.
Rounding. Rates are rounded to whole percentages, so a small share can show as 0% even when some questions were challenging. The count beside each rate is exact; “none of N questions” means no question was challenging.
No questions recorded. “—” means there is nothing to calculate: no questions were recorded for that period on the calls tracked here. It does not mean there was no activity.
Fewer than 3 questions. A company-level rate is withheld when fewer than 3 questions were recorded for that company; the questions are still counted everywhere else.
Small samples. Profiles with fewer than 10 questions are marked Limited sample.
Reporting periods. Questions are grouped by the calendar quarter each company’s fiscal reporting period maps to, not by the date of the call. Periods without a calendar mapping are listed separately under their fiscal label.

Calendar 2026 Q2
has the convert been more existing Mako surgeons adding to their capabilities with RPS
Show response
Direct on the deliberate competitive-account focus, with the caveat that it is very early in the RPS launch.
wondering if the manufacturing disruption is impacting the timing or pace of any of the recent or upcoming launches.
Show response
Named the specific product affected and said nothing material, with several launches scaling in the second half.
Calendar 2026 Q1
You called out on the last earnings call that Foot & Ankle was softer last year. What did you see in Q1? And have you launched the Incompass Total Ankle
Show response
Kevin confirmed the Incompass Total Ankle is launched but awaiting FDA approval of PROPHECY cut guides, expected very soon. Most surgeons need the guides to adopt. Increased reimbursement for total ankle is well-timed.
Calendar 2025 Q4
any update on the percentage of hips, knees, shoulders, flowing through the AC channel for you guys
Show response
Jason Beach confirmed hips and knees ASC penetration in the high teens, ticking up quarter after quarter, but declined to provide more specific figures.
just some more color on Triathlon Gold and if that has launched already
Show response
Kevin Lobo confirmed Triathlon Gold in limited launch with extremely positive feedback. Dual cemented/cementless capability is a huge draw. Will be on display at AOS. Addresses roughly 5% of the market where Stryker had no offering.
Calendar 2025 Q2
I think you called that out earlier being strong. Was that related to key guidance and maybe the momentum in the financial portion of the enabling tech portfolio?
Show response
Kevin explained Q Guidance is shared between spine navigation and Mako 4. Copilot product with haptic feedback also uses Q Guidance. Had a really good Q2.
Are you guys seeing any pressure from the competitor launches in hips?
Show response
Kevin focused on own offense: Insignia hip stem, direct anterior training, Hip 4.0 software, revision hip. Robotic procedure penetration for both knees and hips continues climbing.
Calendar 2025 Q1
I think you noted earlier in the call that the tuck-in acquisitions you made last year were going well. Just any more color on those?
Show response
Kevin highlighted all 7 acquisitions on or ahead of model, with Artelon and Vertos especially fast starts. ASC procedure share continues ticking up every quarter.
Calendar 2024 Q4
have you seen any momentum, increased interest from hospitals and ASC about the excitement of just having one-stop shop for the Mako solution
Show response
Kevin acknowledged early excitement but noted limited launch status. Spine will move faster with less change management. More updates expected at end of Q3.
You didn't really mention Foot & Ankle in the commentary. How did that business fare in Q4? And any commentary on the market environment going into 2025?
Show response
Foot & Ankle market improved from soft first half. Q4 was better. But T&E strength was really about core trauma and Pangea, not Foot & Ankle.

Calendar 2026 Q1
Any updated color on the launch and when will move to a broader launch
Show response
Ivan confirmed transition from limited to full market release. ROSA Shoulder works for both anatomic and reverse procedures (glenoid and humeral resection). Already working on version 2 with improved efficiency. Fully integrated with ROSA ecosystem for data collection. Scaling up unit deployments in U.S. and other markets.
Calendar 2025 Q4
how do you see ASCs as a part of your revantular strategy? And where did you end the year with ASC penetration
Show response
Ivan reported 20-22% of U.S. hips and knees done in ASCs. New ASC president Greg Sealer hired with dedicated team. No portfolio gaps for ASC. Monogram especially relevant for ASC (speed, efficiency, accuracy). Strong momentum with Geringa partnership and large group contract negotiations.
Calendar 2025 Q3
You received clearance for your Iodine Technology in hips recently in Japan, and then, also announced the FDA granted the Technology Breakthrough Device designation in the U.S.
Show response
Ivan confirmed Japan launch before year-end 2025 with significant price uplift and better reimbursement. Clinical trial over 10 years in duration. FDA Breakthrough Designation enables elbow-to-elbow FDA collaboration but does not guarantee shorter timeline. Would not commit to U.S. launch date. Plan to extend to knees, shoulders after hips.
Calendar 2025 Q2
if you could comment on robotic placements in this quarter specifically and then just the pipeline for the rest of the year
Show response
Ivan confirmed THINK Surgical exclusive partnership extended with a large deal pipeline. Robotics category declined YoY due to capital sales mix shift toward volume-based placements, but installations remain at 300+ per year. ASC installs growing. Next-gen ROSA Knee with Optimize (kinematic knee, simpler landmarking, better tracking) launching late 2025.
Calendar 2025 Q1
any kind of early news there, and kind of updates on the timeline for the integration
Show response
Ivan rated integration 'A-plus': all 3 goals met, leadership retention, 250 sales reps signed, innovation design center in Denver preserved. Closed April 21.
