How to read these numbers

Challenge rate is the share of questions that pushed back, pressed for specifics or questioned management’s assumptions. It describes how questions were asked on the calls tracked here; it does not measure whether any view turned out to be right.

Rounding. Rates are rounded to whole percentages, so a small share can show as 0% even when some questions were challenging. The count beside each rate is exact; “none of N questions” means no question was challenging.

No questions recorded. “—” means there is nothing to calculate: no questions were recorded for that period on the calls tracked here. It does not mean there was no activity.

Fewer than 3 questions. A company-level rate is withheld when fewer than 3 questions were recorded for that company; the questions are still counted everywhere else.

Small samples. Profiles with fewer than 10 questions are marked Limited sample.

Reporting periods. Questions are grouped by the calendar quarter each company’s fiscal reporting period maps to, not by the date of the call. Periods without a calendar mapping are listed separately under their fiscal label.

I'm wondering when you might get visibility into next year's component costs from your key suppliers?

Cost PressureSupply ChainTranscript · FY2026 Q2 →
Show response

Winters said this year's market pricing is in line with the prior guide and planned price increases are playing out as expected, with wide variability across memory types and a big benefit from direct purchasing that avoids the spot market. Pricing typically comes every three months, but suppliers have been transparent about the expected trajectory into 2027. Management reiterated its commitment to mitigate the P&L exposure through pricing and productivity while continuing to expand margins into 2027.

it looks like organic growth for fourth quarter is implied in about the 8% range. Can you just discuss how you think about what's embedded around year-end customer budget flush or large deals

DemandGuidance ReliabilityTranscript · FY2026 Q2 →
Show response

Winters said customer conversations remain productive and similar to prior years, with full indication of budget flush typically not clear until late Q3 and early Q4. Zebra feels good about the Q4 pipeline, but Q4 is somewhat capped by the memory supply the company has confidence in securing. The team is actively working to secure the pipeline and pass visibility to the supply chain team to meet demand, as it did in Q2.
