Earnings-call analysis · calendar 2026 Q2
What management and analysts said on calls mapped to this calendar quarter.
Four of the six companies moved up a point and none fell, lifting the industry average sentiment score from 8 to 8.67. The one that cuts against the obvious read is Fortive (FTV), which rose from 5 to 6 even though its reported revenue of nearly $1.1 billion fell 27.79% against a pre-spin prior-year base that still included Ralliant. On a continuing-operations basis, Fortive grew almost 8% and 6.7% on a core basis, so the drop is a spin-off comparison, not shrinking demand. Keysight Technologies (KEYS) went from 9 to 10, while Garmin (GRMN) and Teledyne Technologies (TDY) each moved from 8 to 9. Coherent (COHR) and Trimble (TRMB) held at 9.
