On September 10, 2026, Qnity Electronics disclosed that DuPont, Chemours and Corteva entered into a Settlement Agreement with the State of North Carolina and certain plaintiffs resolving PFAS and other emissions claims from the Fayetteville Works facility. Qnity had established a $43 million indemnification liability in the second quarter of 2026, representing its applicable percentage, which remains unchanged.
On August 21, 2026, Qnity Electronics announced the appointment of Ken Rizvi as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective October 1, 2026. Interim CFO Michael Goss will then serve as VP, Finance & Controllership and Principal Accounting Officer. Rizvi, 51, most recently was SVP and CFO at Synaptics from July 2024 and previously CFO of Penguin Solutions.
