Earnings-call analysis · calendar 2026 Q2
What management and analysts said on calls mapped to this calendar quarter.
The industry average barely moved, 8.29 to 8.38, but half of the 24 companies changed score, and the two biggest drops came from companies that held or raised their outlooks. PTC (PTC) fell from 9 to 4 in the same quarter it lifted the midpoint of full-year ARR growth guidance to 9.25%. Its fiscal Q3 GAAP revenue fell 6.82% to $600 million because the Kepware and ThingWorx divestiture removed those businesses from the current period while the prior year still carried them. The score follows that reported decline; constant currency ARR, which excludes the divested units, grew 9.1% to $2.448 billion. Tyler Technologies (TYL) went from 8 to 5 even though five of its seven themes were positive, led by record SaaS and total bookings and 21.7% SaaS revenue growth. The stored scoring rests on 8.22% GAAP revenue growth and an unchanged full-year outlook with no guidance adjustment, and the CFO said unquantified one-time items pulled second-quarter margins down.
