Sentiment · FY2026 Q2
As of FY2026 Q1, the Tellvest earnings-call sentiment score for Snap Inc. (SNAP) is 7/10.
Snap returned to double-digit growth in Q1, with GAAP revenue up 12% year-over-year to $1.53 billion as other revenue jumped 87% to $285 million on Snapchat+, Memories Storage and Lens+, while advertising rose just 3% to $1.24 billion against a persistent large-advertiser headwind in North America. Daily active users returned to growth at 483 million, up 5% year-over-year, and adjusted gross margin improved 3 points to 57% as adjusted EBITDA climbed $125 million to $233 million, narrowing the net loss to $89 million from $140 million a year earlier. Management paired the results with an April restructuring expected to cut the annualized cost structure by more than $500 million in the second half, carrying $95 million to $130 million of restructuring charges, and it was CFO Derek Andersen's final earnings call. Guidance was for Q2 revenue of $1.52 billion to $1.55 billion, reflecting a diminished FX tailwind, a full-quarter Middle East headwind and the wind-down of the Perplexity relationship. The quarter showed real proof points on subscription momentum and cost discipline, offset by early and uneven recovery among large North America advertisers and ongoing regulatory scrutiny.
