On August 24, 2026, CFO Claire McDonough notified Rivian of her decision to resign effective October 30, 2026 to pursue a new opportunity and relocate closer to family. Her resignation is not the result of any disagreement with the company on financial reporting, operations, policies or practices. She will remain in her role through the effective date to assist the transition. VP of Finance Derek Mulvey is expected to be appointed interim CFO, and an executive search for a permanent CFO is underway.
