On October 9, 2026, subsidiary NSP-Minnesota filed an Electric Customer Rate Stability Plan with the Minnesota PUC as an alternative to its planned rate case. The plan freezes customer base rates for 2027 and 2028, accelerates recognition of federal Investment Tax Credit benefits from five battery storage projects over two years to offset capital costs, and keeps existing trackers. A decision is requested by January 2027; if denied, a rate case is expected in early 2027.
